New and old

I have been meaning to start a blog to catalog (mostly for my own benefit but if it helps anyone else that's awesome too) all of the awesome websites and blogs out there right now. I keep finding these awesome sites and losing them because I have to no way to organize them.  So here it is the archive where all of my favorite things live.

I came across this design on a plate a day's blog. What an awesome use of glaze to create boundaries. I'm thinking of using my new gold glaze to do something similar. The lines look like mishima but maybe i will do slip trailed dots for mine. I just love the tarnished silver sheen of the lip, and the way the looseness of the glaze contrasts the form and other decorations on this plate.
